This reveal bead with self-adhesive foam, and 100 mm fibreglass mesh is used around window and door frames to create a neat and tight finish on your render while also reducing heat loss.

Reveal beads also minimise cracks. An adhesive strip on the bottom of the bead holds it in place initially. The mesh from the bead then runs back along with the reveal of the window or door. Mesh is a key component of thin coat render systems helping to prevent cracking and is embedded within basecoat adhesive.
